Without a doubt, one of the most important parts of building a sustainable, profitable photography business - or business in any field for that matter! - is having a strong brand presence.

Two sides of a brand

Your business brand will have two parts to it:

  1. Visual

  2. Messaging

The messaging is all about what your brand stands for, what your brand believes in, and who your brand is here to serve.

For the visual, it’s all about communicating your brand’s messaging via colors, textures, fonts, patterns, and style. If you’re not naturally a graphic designer, it might be difficult to tackle the branding visuals on your own.

The good news is, there is an amazing tool available to anyone to help with building your brand visuals. Canva is an online platform here to help make graphic design easy for anyone. It’s incredibly robust with lots of templates, graphics, and size options, yet at the same time is so simple and intuitive to use.
